The objective of this group is:
- foster and promote interchange of ideas and cooperation between the car manufacturers themselves but also between the manufacturers and the first and second tiers parts and components suppliers;
- disseminate information of interest and benefit to its members on subjects such as R&D, sourcing, procurement and logistics best practices;
- foster ethical supply management practices in the automotive sector;
- encourage the institution of activities and events for the practical training of supply chain management professionals;
- strive by all legitimate means to advance the supply management profession in the automotive sector.
